Makemind Ecosystem, Inc ("Company", "we", "us") operates appplayer.app and the AppPlayer ecosystem (collectively, the "Services"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use our Services.
2. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information. Account information: when you sign in via Google, GitHub, or email authentication, we collect your email address, display name, and profile photo as provided by those authentication providers. Usage data: device identifiers, IP addresses, interaction logs, and aggregated usage metrics collected when you use the Services. Payment information: if a purchase is made through the Marketplace, card details are handled outside our systems — we do not store credit card numbers or bank account details. We may store a transaction reference and purchase record associated with your account.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to: provide and maintain the Services; manage your account and access; process and record transactions where applicable; send service-related communications; improve the Services through aggregated analytics; and respond to support requests.
4. Data Storage
Your data is stored using Firebase and Google Cloud infrastructure. Account credentials are managed by Firebase Authentication (Google LLC). User profile and transaction data are stored in Cloud Firestore (Google LLC). Uploaded files and media are stored in Firebase Storage (Google LLC). All data is stored on Google Cloud servers.
5. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services that may process your data: Firebase and Google (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Firebase Storage, Cloud hosting). Each service operates under its own privacy policy and data-processing agreement.
6. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share your data only with: cloud infrastructure providers under data-processing agreements for the purpose of operating the Services; and law enforcement or regulatory authorities when required by applicable law.
7. Cookies and Local Storage
We use Firebase Authentication session cookies to maintain your login state, and localStorage to store preferences such as theme (light/dark mode). We do not use third-party tracking or advertising cookies.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data. You may also object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@makemind.app. We will respond within 30 days.
9. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services. Upon account deletion, personal data is removed within 30 days. Aggregated, anonymised data may be retained for analytics purposes.
10. Children's Privacy
The Services are not intended for users under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that a child has provided personal data, we will delete it promptly.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the Services or email at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance.
